How to Buy (Bid) on Property

Bidding on property listed in our online auctions is simple.

First, you need to register.  See "How to Register" above.

Bidding is "online, real time" in a format similar to Ebay.

With this system, you can place a bid at an exact amount just high enough to become the high bidder, or enter a maximum amount you are willing to pay right up front.

The system will "auto-bid" for you, just enough to keep you as the high bidder, until your maximum is reached.

Please make sure you have read our "Auction Terms" before bidding.

Watch the property listing to monitor the bidding.  You may be outbid, especially near the end of the auction.

Any bids coming in near the listed closing time will automatically extend the closing time briefly to make sure that all bids are received.

This insures that the Bidder who is willing to pay the most wins the bid, and the Seller gets the highest possible price.

The auction "ending times" are separated by a few minutes, and close sequentially.  This allows you a chance to bid on another property if you are out-bid.

If you are outbid, the new "High Bidder" will show on the auction page, and we will also immediately send you an Email notifying you that you have been outbid.

You may need to "Refresh" your Internet browser to make sure you are seeing the current bid.  Click "View" - "Refresh" or F5 on Internet Explorer.

When the auction closes, if you are the "High Bidder," you will receive an Email from us verifying your successful bid!
